Becoming an Egg Donor in Kazakhstan

Medical precision + careful selection + technical means = highest success rate

Who can be a donor?

We invite young, healthy girls to participate in the egg donation program. Fill out the form if any of the following apply:

20-35 years old

Normal weight

In good health

Good appearance

Age requirement for egg donation

Most egg donation organizations will only accept women between the ages of 21 and 35, and this may vary from clinic to clinic.

When a woman reaches the age of 35, she is less likely to respond to fertility drugs and her eggs are more likely to produce abnormalities, which often increase the risk of birth defects.

FAQ

Women between the ages of 20 and 35 who wish to help infertile couples by participating in an egg donation program. Donors must be of normal physique (not overweight), non-smokers, and free from gynecological and other diseases. Donors undergo a comprehensive examination to confirm the absence of diseases such as HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and C, gonorrhea, chlamydia, mycoplasmosis, ureaplasmosis, cytomegalovirus, and genital herpes.

Theoretically, it is possible to donate oocytes every menstrual cycle (every month), but we allow at least two months of rest between donation cycles to allow the donor’s ovaries to recover.

A 12-year-old girl has approximately 300,000 eggs in her ovaries. During reproductive age, the ovaries consume fewer than 500 eggs during ovulation. The remaining 299,500 eggs undergo what is called “atresia,” which means they are absorbed by the ovaries between puberty and menopause. Because there is such a large “reserve” of these eggs, there is no reason to believe that taking medication during the donation process or donating eggs itself will reduce the supply of eggs, thus causing premature menopause.

All information regarding the donation program is strictly confidential. The couple receiving your eggs will sign a statement promising not to reveal the identity of the egg donor and acknowledge that they or their child will have no further association with you. They will not know your name. They will only receive general information about your physical parameters: weight, height, phenotype, appearance, and any hereditary or genetic diseases (if present).

Egg donors must be in good health; a physical and gynecological examination, as well as detailed medical history and family background information, are required before being accepted into the egg donation program.
